    HP ToneTable

It’s a fact of life: inside all of us sleeps a wanna-be DJ that snaps awake every time we see an old turn-table collecting dust in a buddy’s garage or pass by an 80s-style synthesizer at a yard-sale. That inner DJ just knows that he can kill it, just kill it, if given the chance, proper mixing equipment and a house party in need of some tunes.

When we were asked to develop something funky for the HP Play Facebook Page we knew exactly what to do. So, for the DJ in all of us, Archrival designed and developed the HP Tone Tablet, a music mixing application that allows users to mix, produce and demo a variety of custom jams. Oh, and did we mention that each and every beat, riff, bass bump, and record scratch was produced in-house by one of our own? Well it was, Spinderella.

After Liking the HP Play page, you are dropped inside a virtual mixing studio where you have a variety of soundboards and music samples to arrange, mix and experiment with. Here, budding producers can channel their inner-Dre and record up to three tracks of beats, synths and samples to create their own custom mix. Once happy with your creation, you can post the polished masterpiece to your wall or share it with your network of friends as well.

Now go drop a beat, Jazzy Jeff!
