Gentlemen, start your engines! NASCAR is one of the largest spectator sports in the World, with diehard fans that want to be connected to their favorite driver and team 24/7. Kyle Busch (or “Rowdy” as he’s affectionately referred to on the track) is one of the most talented drivers in the sport with a dedicated and passionate fan-base that follows him religiously.
When Kyle and his team at MMI approached Archrival about designing and developing a new website they were not only looking for something that was socially connected, content focused and continuously updated but also a property that felt as if it were made by true racing fan – someone who knows what a Darlington Stripe is, how points are calculated, and even what the Lucky Dog Rule means. Having previously worked with other NASCAR teams, we gladly accepted their challenge.
KyleBusch.com boasts an elegant interface that places an emphasis on photography and rich, compelling images. On race day, the site transforms into the ultimate racing experience that provides fans with the type of content normally reserved for members of a pit-crew. Fans can follow along with Rowdy’s Twitter feed, read what other fans are saying on Facebook throughout the duration of the race and get up-to-the-minute lap updates.
It’s no wonder fans feel as if they’re riding shotgun in the 18-car.
